Drum major and student conductor workshop 2017

Congratulations to Jun Xiang for completing the drum major workshop and Jamie for completing the student conductor workshop in 2017.

CCA Carnival 2018

At the annual CCA Carnival for our newly batch of Secondary 1 students, Concert Band had set up a booth and a few percussion instruments. Woodwind and brass instruments were also brought down. Seniors played a few rounds of performance and solo songs around the booth too. 

 Sec 1s had the chance to try out some of our drum sets.

The carnival ended successfully with quite a number of interested Sec 1s signing up.

Audition for Sec 1 on 17 Jan 2018

All Sec 1 are welcomed to take a look at our training on
17 Jan 2018 Wed at 4pm.
The venue will be at the AVA room on level 4 (next to the art room)

Concert Band Audition 2018

Hello Sec 1s, Concert Band would be having an audition on 17 Jan (Wednesday) @ 4pm.

We are located on Level 4 AVA room,  hope to see you there ! 

Q: Do I need any playing experience or prepare any instruments beforehand?

A: No, you don't have to come with a music background. Concert Band will impart you new skills  from scratch.

Q: What will I be doing at the audition?

A: Relax! you'll be witnessing your seniors showcasing a few music pieces. Meanwhile try to spot the various instruments used in our band and perhaps note down the names of some! Also, our conductor will be having a friendly discussion with you as well as letting you know more of Band's commitment.

For more info, come to the audition, i promise it will be an interesting experience 😏😏
