Band Day Camp 2017

To kickstart the camp, we had bonding games followed by practice. Some seniors came back and joined us playing 'shut up and dance' piece.
This is the challenge trail activity where members were blindfolded and carefully guided by leaders around the school.

Through this activity, the qualities of Trust, Confidence and learning to respond in times of adversity were challenged.

This tunnel-crawling segment taught members the importance of listening to instructions and acting them out courageously in order to move on.

Seniors were there to ensure every participant's safety and enjoyment.

Branches were used as obstacles - our edegfield 'hills'.

Participants have to trust the person in front of them. If the front person turns left, the whole team would have to turn left as well.
We ended with a bonding session where band members were also asked to shout out what they have learnt today. Some excellent responses were integrity, team work and caring for one another.
Band Day Camp 2017 ended with our favourite snacks and sweets !
Thank you to all who played a part ! 😋
